DESCRIPTION:The Ogemaw County Veterans Museum was started initially as a tribute to the members of the armed forces following the 9/11 attacks. The display drew such a positive response that permission was asked for & granted to build a veterans museum on the fairgrounds. Since its completion in 2003\, hundreds of artifacts have been received. They now have petitioned for permission to build a 25 foot addition that they now need to display everything.
