The Northern Michigan Children’s Assessment Center is seeking a full-time Program Managerto provide oversight, supervision and leadership to NMCAC programs ensuring a highly coordinated response for children who are suspected of being victims of abuse.  Responsibilities will include Program Management to include recruitment, hiring, staff development, supervision and performance reviews. Compliance to include National Children Alliance Standards and Division of Victim Services policies and procedures, and Program Leadership to include supporting staff with difficult cases, nurturing the professional growth and wellbeing of staff and providing overall program oversight. The Northern Michigan Children’s Assessment Center is seeking a full-time Forensic Interviewer to work with our multi-disciplinary team. Responsibilities include interviewing children who are alleged to be a victim of abuse, as well as case data entry and case tracking, and community outreach. Position is primarily based out of our Roscommon Office, with some travel to our Tawas Office. Bachelor’s degree required in a human service-related field; criminal justice, social work, child development, psychology, family studies, registered nurse BSN, education. Preference will be given to those with experience working with trauma. Benefits include: medical, dental and vision insurance, IRA with a 3% match by employer. The Northern Michigan Children’s Assessment Center is seeking a part-time Intake Coordinator for our Tawas Office, up to 20 hours a week. This position will oversee the day-to-day operations for our satellite office, including greeting clients, assisting with intake paperwork, providing clients support, and supervision of children in the waiting room. Duties will also include interacting with community donors, organizing and tracking donations. Experience working with nonprofits in a trauma informed setting is preferred. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, good organization skills, and ability to interact with children and families. Pay to start at $16.00 per hour.
